Samantha Irvin reacts after fan calls Ricochet "ungrateful" for leaving WWE for AEW
A fan recently fired a shot at Ricochet and Samantha Irvin for leaving WWE. The former RAW ring announcer has now responded to the post on X.
The last year of Ricochet's WWE run is best left forgotten. He was poorly booked and wasn't involved in any meaningful storylines. For a year, the erstwhile Prince Puma pursued the United States Championship and the Intercontinental Title, only to come up short each time.
As a result of his poor booking, Ricochet opted not to renew his contract when it expired in June 2024 and left the Stamford-based promotion. Following this, he appeared at All In 2024 and competed in his first match. Since then, The Future of Flight has been a regular feature on AEW TV.
Meanwhile, his fiancee, Samantha Irvin, announced last week that she was no longer a part of the WWE in a long post on social media. Many fans can't seem to fathom that the real-life couple are no longer part of the Stamford-based promotion, and some have also criticized them on social media.
Recently, a wrestling fan called both Samantha and Ricochet "ungrateful" on X because they chose to leave WWE. The former RAW ring announcer didn't let the comment pass and replied:
"Ungrateful weird mutts!"

This isn't the first time that Samantha Irvin has lashed out at a fan over disrespectful comments towards Ricochet
Now that both Samantha Irvin and Ricochet are no longer part of WWE, many fans can't seem to tolerate this. They have taken to social media to criticize the couple for leaving the company.
Recently, a wrestling fan commented on one of Samantha's posts, stating that the 35-year-old ''chose a jobber over her career.'' The former WWE ring announcer replied:
"@tristennwilliams, RICHochet is correct!"

However, she later deleted the post. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Samantha in this next chapter of her life.
