Major accusation levied on Ricochet
Since arriving in AEW, Ricochet has been collecting wins in singles matches. He has defeated Kyle Fletcher, Lio Rush, Nick Wayne, and many more. Last week on Dynamite, he teamed with Powerhouse Hobbs to face the team of Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita.
During the match, the commentary team discussed the high flyer's finishing move, The Spirit Gun, which is a sliding lariat. Nigel McGuinness mentioned how it looked similar to Will Ospreay's Hidden Blade and even accused him of stealing the move.
Tony Schiavone defended the former WWE star and questioned whether Ospreay invented the move or if he also got the idea from somewhere else. Schiavone additionally wondered if his commentary partner had done the same with some of the moves in his arsenal.
It will be interesting to see if the former WWE star's impressive streak will continue on AEW TV in the coming weeks.
