Sammy Guevara breaks silence after his recent return; drops a massive hint

Sammy Guevara has dropped a massive hint about his next potential move. This was his first statement on social media since making his return.

Guevara is one of the most promising wrestlers on the AEW roster. The Spanish God's incredible athleticism coupled with his charisma has helped him get over with fans quickly, and he is considered one of the pillars of the company. However, the former TNT Champion's career has had its fair share of controversies.

A couple of years ago, Guevara received backlash for throwing a chair at Matt Hardy and busting him open in the process. While that issue got resolved pretty quickly, his botched dive on Jeff Hardy earlier this year got him in some major trouble. He landed on Hardy's nose while attempting a top rope maneuver.

Instead of going for the pinfall after the move, he opted to hit his finisher on Jeff and then secure the win. Hence, Guevara was suspended from the company for several months.

It appears that his suspension is over now, as he made an appearance on a recent ROH taping and chased away John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Following his comeback, The Spanish God took to X/Twitter to break his silence. He hinted that he was planning something "interesting" in the future.

"Tomorrow's going to be interesting," Guevara tweeted.

Sammy Guevara reportedly didn't want to join The Learning Tree upon his return

Sammy Guevara has been tied to Chris Jericho for the majority of his AEW career. He was originally part of the Inner Circle and later joined the Jericho Appreciation Society. Hence, when Jericho formed The Learning Tree, it appeared as if Guevara would join the stable upon his comeback, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reported that Tony Khan wanted Sammy Guevara to turn heel and join The Learning Tree, but The Spanish God wasn't interested in the pitch.

“Yesterday, I said he did not want to turn heel and that is not entirely correct. What happened was the idea they had for him on the main roster involved him being heel but he would have been fine being heel. He just didn’t want to do the idea they had for him, which presumably would have been Jericho and The Learning Tree (…) They probably did want him in The Learning Tree. He didn’t want to be in The Learning Tree. Whatever the deal was he was willing to go heel but the ideas they had for him on the main roster, he was not super excited to do those ideas," Alvarez said. [H/T - RingsideNews]

It will be interesting what the future holds for Sammy Guevara now that he is not expected to combine forces with Chris Jericho.
