Sammy Guevara sends a message ahead of first match since being suspended from AEW

Sammy Guevara is set to compete in his first match since his return from being suspended from AEW. He has sent a message ahead of his first match.

Guevara is one of the most promising stars in AEW. He rose to prominence due to his association with Chris Jericho in the Inner Circle. His in-ring skills and daredevil attitude made him a fan favorite in the company. However, his career hasn't been free from controversy.

Guevara got a lot of heat a couple of years ago for throwing a steel chair at Matt Hardy's head causing him to bleed. Earlier this year, he found himself embroiled in controversy again when he dived onto Jeff Hardy's head and broke his nose. However, instead of going to the finish, he hit his finisher and then pinned Hardy. As a result of this move, Guevara was suspended from the company for several months.

However, The Spanish God returned last week on ROH and rescued Dustin Rhodes from John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Tonight on ROH, he is set to team with Dustin to take on Silver and Reynold. Ahead of this match, he took to social media to send a message:

"First match in 5 months tonight!"

"Happy Anniversary! Two years ago, I married my best friend. You came into my life & made everything better. You are my greatest adventure. Thank you for giving us Luna and everything you do for our family. To infinity and beyond meu amor [red heart emoji]," Guevara wrote with a photo from their wedding ceremony.
