Saraya, fka Paige, calls former WWE Superstar “useless” and “pathetic”
Ahead of AEW All In happening in just under a week, Saraya (FKA Paige) has just taken to social media to straight up insult a certain former WWE Superstar. This would be Toni Storm.
There was a lot of history between them as Storm used to be a member of The Outcasts, but during the latter part of 2023, she ended up turning on the group and transitioning into her Timeless gimmick. During that time, the former WWE Diva was one of the women standing in her way of capturing the AEW Women's World Championship.
On X/Twitter, Saraya had a few words for Toni Storm ahead of their title match next week when Dynamite heads to Cardiff, Wales, for the first time. She mentioned how she had never lost to Storm and called her rival useless and pathetic. The British star was looking to steal her spotlight and be the one to face Mariah May at All In instead.
"Toni’s never beaten me in a singles. She’s useless. Pathetic. Can’t wait to steal her spot at All In," the former Divas Champion tweeted.
The last time both women faced off was at Dynamite: Grand Slam in September last year, as Saraya successfully defended her Women's Championship against the Timeless star.
How was Saraya given a world title shot?
For a few weeks, the former WWE Superstar has been complaining about being left out of this year's edition of All In. Last year, she shocked the world by winning the four-way match and capturing the AEW Women's World Championship in front of her family in her home country. She wished to have another Wembley moment this year.
All roads have been closed so far as she fell short during the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, losing to Mariah May in the opening round. May would win the whole thing and earn a title shot in the process.
A few days ago on Rampage, she came out in front of the crowd and continued to talk about being left out of the show. Coincidentally, Rampage aired a day before her birthday. Out came Toni Storm, who had a gift for Saraya to honor the history they shared.
She offered the British star a world title shot for Dynamite next week, putting up everything she had, including a spot at All In, as long as the former Paige could beat her in singles competition.
It will be a tall task indeed for Saraya as she'll be taking on Storm, who has a heavy motivation to keep her spot at All In, seeing as she'll be taking on the monster she created in Mariah May.
