Saraya’s AEW All In spot could be in jeopardy after recent confrontation
AEW star Saraya was in a major position at last year's All In. However, there have been some concerns regarding her spot at this year's event.
The former WWE star competed in a Four-Way match against Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, and Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Championship at last year's All In. Saraya managed to become the Women's Champion in front of her family which proved to be a heartwarming moment as she has fought major setbacks to get back into the squared circle in the past couple of years.
However, Saraya's spot at this year's show in Wembley seems uncertain due to her underwhelming booking in the Jacksonville-based promotion. The former Divas Champion will be looking to change her All In status as on the August 16 episode of Rampage, she talked her way into a huge Women's World Title shot against Toni Storm set to take place on the August 21 episode of Dynamite in Wales.
Saraya claims AEW is trying to keep her from competing at All In
All In is set to take place at Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom on August 25 and according to Saraya, the company is stopping her from performing in front of her hometown fans.
A couple of weeks ago on AEW Rampage, Saraya addressed her status for All In while looking back at last year's event. She claimed that the company could not keep her off the show in Wembley despite their efforts.
"You know why, though, it's because AEW is scared of me. The girls' locker room are terrified of me because I am the living legend in this business, I understand trust me. But last year at All In, I had the world at my feet, and right now, let's be real here, they're just trying to keep me off the show...They can't keep me off the show because, you know what, I am the show. And all roads are leading to Wembley for me, baby, and I don't care about who I have to step on to get there," Saraya said. [From 0:21-0:56]
Saraya has a huge chance to become the Women's World Champion next week on Dynamite. It will be interesting to see if she wins the title and heads to All In in her hometown.
