Serious communication issues could mark the end of top AEW tag team after a 5-year run

The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) have been tag team partners in AEW since 2019. However, their partnership seems to be in jeopardy given the current situation.

Last week on Saturday Night Collision, Anthony Bowens came out to save Big Boom AJ and Big Justice from being verbally torn down by Jericho and The Learning Tree. This set up a match between the ROH World Champion and The Acclaimed member on the final edition of Rampage on Friday, December 27.

In an exclusive interview on Dynamite this week, Bowens addressed his upcoming match against The Demo God at Rampage. A few seconds later, the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive popped up and blamed Bowens for ignoring him lately. In response, the star accused Caster of acting strange and not communicating with him.

Caster lashed out at Bowens for choosing Big Boom AJ and Big Justice over their partnership. He then apologized for going off and promised to be at ringside during his match against Jericho.

Things seem to be tense between Caster and The Scissor King. This has been going on for a few months. If the two stars keep fighting over petty issues like this, it may soon result in a big problem for them, which can also make the end of their partnership.

AEW stars Max Caster and Anthony Bowens don't appear to be on the same page

The Acclaimed are former World Tag Team Champion and former World Trios Champion with Billy Gunn. Both the stars always had each other's back but lately, cracks have been showing up in their partnership. These cracks were prominently visible at AEW Full Gear when Caster and Anthony didn't seem to be on the same page.

The Acclaimed faced The Outrunners, Kings of the Black Throne, and Private Party in a Four-Way AEW World Tag Team Title match. Their dynamics seemed to be off from the beginning of the match and they were out of sync throughout. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the duo.
