"Sh*t was hard," says WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley after losing big challenge
WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently lost a playful "challenge" to her husband, AEW's Buddy Matthews. The Nightmare has now shared a witty response to the aforementioned loss on social media.
Rhea Ripley is one of the most popular and dominant performers in the Triple H-led promotion, claiming a top spot in RAW's women's division despite having to vacate her Women's World Championship in April. However, on a more positive note, the 28-year-old star tied the knot with her fiancé, AEW talent Buddy Matthews, earlier this year.
In an Instagram reel shared a couple of hours ago, Matthews and Ripley faced a burger-eating challenge. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion came out on top in the friendly contest, finishing his meal in under a minute.

In the comments section under the reel, The Eradicator humorously responded to her "loss" to The House of Black member, stressing the difficulty of gobbling down such a large quantity of food in so short a duration.
"Sh*t was hard!... [skull emoji]," wrote Ripley.

What WWE's Rhea Ripley and AEW's Buddy Matthews have been up to lately
This week on Monday Night RAW, Rhea Ripley brought the fight to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to continue her feud with the new iteration of The Judgment Day. She also nearly managed to exact vengeance on Dominik Mysterio, capturing him in the Prison Trap, although Morgan would make the save for her on-screen partner.
On the other hand, Buddy Matthews was in action this week on AEW Dynamite alongside his trios' partners Malakai Black and Brody King, as they easily defeated the team of Jaden Monroe, Kevin Koa & Pirata de la Muerte.
After the bout, Matthews challenged former WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole. The two men also had a tense backstage confrontation, following which the match was made official for Fright Night Dynamite later this month.
