Shane McMahon's close friend addresses potential move to AEW amid strong rumors

One of Shane McMahon’s close friend has addressed his potential move to AEW amid recent strong rumors. It is looking more likelier by the day that the former WWE star might end up in AEW.

The name in question is none other than Pete Gas. On top of being Shane’s close friend, Pete was also a member of the Mean Street Posse faction in WWE. He was speaking on the AdFreeShows when he said that one could never say never with Shane.

“Never say never. That’s the only thing I can say. I don’t know. The history behind Shane, and everyone, Shane loves to kayfabe. Shane is not going to let anything out that he doesn’t want out. It’s funny because they teased that whole thing with him meeting with Khan. It piques people’s interest. You never say never with Shane. He lives for that moment. The whole thing when he came back (to WWE), everything is kayfabe with him. It’s always been kayfabe. That’s how he lives. You never say never.” [H/T - Ringside News]

If Shane does end up in AEW, it possibly will be one of the worst kept secrets in wrestling, given how much coverage there has been over this possibility.

Bully Ray thinks Jon Moxley has teased Shane McMahon’s arrival

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray thinks that Jon Moxley has teased the arrival of Shane McMahon in AEW. Moxley turned heel recently and has been on a spree hurting others, no matter friend or foe of late.

A few weeks back, the former WWE Superstar had a little back and forth with Tony Schiavone when he may have dropped the hint on McMahon. Bully Ray was speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast when he said:

"Moxley comes out and says [to Tony Schiavone], 'This is not your company anymore.' What is he talking about? I'll let you know what I think, 'cause I'm sure as hell not sure... I think Schiavone was the conduit to Tony Khan... Is Moxley talking about Shane [McMahon]?"

It will be interesting to see if Shane McMahon does indeed joins AEW. If so, one can only wonder the kind of role Tony Khan might have in store for him.
