"She adds nothing to that group" - Konnan confesses he's not a fan of female AEW personality

AEW has been shaking up its factions throughout 2024, but wrestling legend Konnan isn't a fan of a particular female talent being part of one of the company's top groups. The WCW veteran recently revealed that he thinks Mother Wayne doesn't add anything to The Patriarchy.

Shayna Wayne joined her son, Nick Wayne, in Christian Cage's stable late last year. She's proven to be a dastardly villain, but Konnan doesn't seem to think she's particularly necessary as a member of The Patriarchy. He laid out his argument on a recent episode of Keepin' It 100:

"I have nothing against Mother Wayne; I'm just hating not stating, but she really doesn't add anything to that group," said Konnan. "She adds nothing to that group, in my opinion, and does nothing."

Konnan's co-host, Disco Inferno, also weighed in on Mother Wayne's presence in The Patriarchy, noting that she's taller than her own son:

"She's too big. She like towers over all the wrestlers ... she's bigger than Nick Wayne," Disco said. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

Konnan isn't interested in Jon Moxley's current direction in AEW

All Elite Wrestling is closing out the year with a major storyline centered around Jon Moxley and his Death Riders. While many of the company's top stars are involved in the program, WCW legend Konnan hasn't found much to be excited about.

Konnan has been critical of Tony Khan's creative direction in the past, but he's also a self-professed fan of Jon Moxley. However, on a recent edition of Keepin' It 100, the 60-year-old confirmed that he's not interested in the AEW World Champion's current angle:

"I'm absolutely not interested, they've done nothing to interest me. They don't come off as intimidating or interesting. Whoever is writing this, if it's [Jon] Moxley, that's good because you're getting a lot of TV at the beginning and you look cool. But, I'm not invested in this at all."

Moxley and his faction have been running wild on AEW television, but The Purveyor of Violence has a massive target on his back. Whether he can survive a four-way match against Hangman Page, Jay White, and Orange Cassidy at Worlds End remains to be seen.
