[SPOILERS] Jon Moxley surprisingly refuses to save Death Riders member from brutal attack
The current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley shockingly refused to save a member of his Death Riders faction while he was being brutally attacked. The segment took place on an upcoming taped show.
Jon Moxley, along with his Death Riders stablemates Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta, has been a force to be reckoned with for the past few months. They have put the entire roster on notice. However, it seems like Mox and Co. are still doubtful of Yuta's loyalty as he is seemingly being used by the other members.
During the tapings for AEW Collision this Saturday, Wheeler Yuta was slated to take on Hangman Page after the latter was attacked by The Death Riders on Dynamite this week. Hangman managed to secure the win in the end; however, he continued beating up Yuta after the match.
Nonetheless, Moxley along with Claudio, PAC, and Marina Shafir showed up in the stands but surprisingly avoided saving Wheeler. Jay White also showed up later and hit Wheeler Yuta with a Switchblade before taunting The Death Riders. But Moxley and his group still didn't come to the aid of Yuta.
This was shocking considering Yuta interfered during Moxley's World Title match against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear to help his stablemate retain the title. However, Wheeler has been getting nothing in return despite showing his loyalty to the group time and time again.
Jon Moxley and The Death Riders knocked out two top AEW stars
After Jon Moxley retained his AEW World Title at Full Gear, Hangman Page showed up and tried to help Christian Cage cash in his title contract before they were stopped by Jay White.
On Dynamite this week, Hangman explained his actions and was interrupted by Jay White. PAC attacked White from behind and Hangman Page was also taken out by The Death Riders. The assault continued even after Marina Shafir knocked White out.
Moreover, it seems both Jay White and Hangman Page will continue their feud with The Death Riders going forward. Only time will tell how the story will conclude.
