Sting reunites with 5-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion

Former AEW star Sting was recently spotted with a WWE Hall of Famer. The star being discussed is Kevin Nash. The latter was one of the cornerstones of WCW and also a multi-time champion in the company.

The Icon, too, had a great run in WCW, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times. The duo wrestled each other several times in 1998. However, later in their careers, the two won the WCW World Tag Team Championships.

While Kevin Nash retired from in-ring action in 2018, The Vigilante revived his wrestling career after arriving in All Elite Wrestling in December 2020. Not only did he have a good run in the promotion, but he retired undefeated from AEW at Revolution pay-per-view 2024.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion was scheduled to appear in Cleveland during SummerSlam weekend at Wrestlecon - Destination Cleveland. On the other hand, Kevin Nash announced he would be attending The Biggest Party of the Summer this year. The duo must have crossed paths in Cleveland and reunited during the last weekend.

Kevin Nash reveals he is still friends with Sting

The Icon and Nash shared a lot of time in the WCW locker room. However, the latter didn't attend the 65-year-old star's retirement match in AEW.

While speaking on his Kliq This podcast, the Hall of Famer clarified that he and The Vigilante are still great friends.

"It was nice, really great [to meet him]. It was so great to see him because there was so much internet talk about me not going to Steve’s last match. No, we love each other. He’s my friend. It’s like, he understands," he said.

It will be interesting to see when will the 65-year-old star return to AEW for a one-off appearance.
