Swerve Strickland reacts to MVP trying to recruit him in his new AEW faction

MVP has been trying to recruit Swerve Strickland to his new AEW faction. Strickland seemingly reacted to the offer in a recent tweet.

The former AEW World Champion has been the subject of a charm offensive from MVP after the latter made his debut on Dynamite. The former WWE star’s first course of action in the promotion was to go after Prince Nana and then reveal his wish to manage Strickland.

Now, Swerve Strickland has cryptically responded to MVP after the latter asked him whether he thought that he was a liar. On X/Twitter, The Realest replied:

“You don't want me to answer that on here.... TTYL.”

It will be interesting to see what will happen next in the storyline involving MVP and Strickland.

Vince Russo blasted AEW for Swerve Strickland’s chair spot at All Out

Swerve Strickland and 'Hangman' Adam Page had a very intense and violent match at AEW All Out 2024. Page came out on top but not before hitting Strickland on the head with a steel chair.

Vince Russo recently blasted AEW for its safety protocols and claimed that the promotion's standards were ridiculous. On Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo said:

"There is a chair shot to the head of Strickland, where he literally had his arms down and gave his head. And they are saying that they gimmicked the chair. Okay bro, in order for the gimmick chair to work you still gotta hit him over the head with it. You have got to make contact with his head for the gimmick chair to break. You are still hitting him over the head, bro."

The former AEW World Champion has not been seen on TV since his match at All Out and is currently on hiatus.
