Swerve Strickland reacts after being ranked behind Cody Rhodes in the PWI 500 2024

Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been ranked number one in the 2024 PWI 500 list. Meanwhile, former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland has been ranked number two. The King of Swerve has now taken to his X (Twitter) account to share his reaction.

Swerve Strickland and Cody Rhodes have both been on the top of the mountain this year in their respective companies. While The American Nightmare defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, The New Flavor ended Samoa Joe's AEW World Title reign at the Dynasty PPV earlier this year.

Strickland had a memorable reign, which was ended by Bryan Danielson at the Wembley Stadium at All In 2024. The King of Swerve recently locked horns with Hangman Adam Page in an unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match at All Out.

The 33-year-old took to his X account on Tuesday and reacted to being number two on the PWI 500 2024.

"I love lists!" he wrote.

Cody Rhodes reveals his favorite moment from WWE WrestleMania XL

The American Nightmare officially finished the story at WrestleMania XL after defeating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Bloodline Rules Match.

Stars like Randy Orton, John Cena, Kevin Owens, and several others were there to celebrate with Cody Rhodes after his victory.

In a recent chat with Inside The Ropes, the 39-year-old revealed that veteran official Charles Robinson handing him the coveted championship was his ''happiest memory'' from the show.

"Charles Robinson handing me the title; even now I'm just like tensing up; think about it. Charles Robinson handing me the title was the happiest memory I could possibly have. We talked about at the beginning of this interview in terms of willing something new into existence; it doesn't always happen, it's not always a happy ending, and I wasn't going to get the opportunity to wrestle him again really if we didn't get it done. And Charles handing me the title. He might be the type that we don't have to say anything to each other, but that was incredibly special," he said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match in the upcoming episode of SmackDown. It will be interesting to see if The American Nightmare retains the title this Friday.
