Swerve Strickland sends three-word message ahead of AEW return
AEW star Swerve Strickland posted an interesting message on social media ahead of his return to the promotion. He is scheduled to return at WrestleDream-pay-per-view, which will be hosted at his hometown Tacoma Dome.
The former world champion has had a rough time since losing his AEW World Championship to Bryan Danielson at All In. Hangman Page burnt his childhood house, which Swerve recently purchased. Further, the former then went on to lose the match against him at All Out. He hasn't been seen in the company since then.
While Swerve Strickland is on a hiatus, his manager Prince Nana was approached by the debuting MVP at Dynamite: Grand Slam. The latter claimed he wanted to talk business with Strickland and handed the business card to Nana. On one side, Montel was trying to sign the former AEW World Champion and on the other hand, he brought in Shelton Benjamin as his business associate last Wednesday.
On the latest episode of Dynamite, AEW announced that the star will be returning to the promotion at WrestleDream. Following the huge announcement, he took to Twitter and teased having a discussion with MVP.
"Lets talk business," he wrote.
It will be interesting to see if Swerve Strickland chooses MVP as his manager.
