Taz responds to Christian Cage's shocking statement on AEW Dynamite

Christian Cage made a shocking statement on AEW Dynamite this week. The Patriarch had a confrontation with HOOK during which he expressed his wish to see wrestling legend Taz dead. The veteran commentator has now taken to social media to send a message to Cage.

In October 2024, The Human Suplex machine was attacked in a parking lot ahead of an episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. It later emerged that Christian Cage and The Patriarchy were behind the mysterious assault on HOOK's father.

This week on AEW's flagship show, The Patriarch and HOOK had a face-to-face confrontation, and the former disclosed his interest in mentoring the 25-year-old. Cage then stated that he attacked the legendary commentator to take the latter out of the equation and have the up-and-coming star all for himself. The former TNT Champion also said that he wished The Human Wrecking Machine was dead.

"And right now, I'm regretting my decision to not take things with Taz a little bit further because, as I survey this arena, it's pretty clear to me nobody cares if Taz is alive. I need you HOOK, and in this very moment, I'm gonna tell it to your face; I wish your father was dead!" he said.

Responding to Christian Cage's comments on Dynamite, the ECW legend took to his X account and wrote:

"I am not dead!''

Major health update on AEW star Taz

Taz has been absent from TV since The Patriarchy attacked him ahead of the October 2 episode of Dynamite. The 57-year-old is at home recovering from the injuries he sustained during the ambush.

A few hours ago, the AEW commentator took to his X account to share an update on his health condition. He shared a picture of his bandaged leg on the social media platform.

"I’m gettin there!" he wrote.

HOOK has been trying to seek revenge on Cage for hurting his father. Will he be successful? Only time will tell.
