"That's your explanation" - Matt Hardy has figured out why Bo Dallas has become Uncle Howdy
WWE veteran Matt Hardy recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas segments from Monday Night RAW. Hardy left WWE in 2020.
The Wyatt 6 made their brutal debut a couple of weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, led by the vicious Uncle Howdy. The storyline has also surprisingly brought back Bo Dallas's character who has been involved in pre-taped segments having conversations with his alter ego, Uncle Howdy.
On his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the veteran shared his thoughts on Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy's alter ego segments from WWE RAW. Hardy said that it makes the fans understand the dynamic behind the purpose of Howdy and Bo.
"These alter egos were merging into one and that is kind of the goal of what they wanted to do originally. Bo and Uncle Howdy had to become one. Almost like how the first vignette was sort of where you had Bo, and you had Uncle Howdy have like this is where he needs to be if he's going to honor his brother in the right way and then you have Bo, who's still mourning the loss of his brother in many ways and that's kinda what the conversation is and that was a great dynamic where it makes you understand both sides."
The former United States Champion spoke further about last week's development in the Wyatt Sick's storyline on Monday Night RAW.
"This week, you saw them come together of the same mindset. It was shot so da*n cool ... That's your explanation behind why Bo Dallas has undertook this alias of Uncle Howdy and what he's gonna do with it, his motivation for leading the Wyatt Sicks." [00:55 - 2:11]
Matt Hardy further praised the character development of Bo Dallas into Uncle Howdy
Bo Dallas has been the man behind Uncle Howdy since 2022. The company has started to acknowledge it on TV after his recent arrival with the Wyatt Sicks. Speaking on the same podcast, the veteran spoke about the importance of character development and praised Bo's evolvement into Uncle Howdy.
"Once again, you know it's evolution and that's what all wrestling characters have to do. They are evolving Bo Dallas into Uncle Howdy and they're doing it in a very believable way. The way they did it where he said, 'My Brother was my hero, I wanted to be my brother, I wanted to do this.' It sets the bar high for what he wants to do and what he wants to achieve and his facial expressions and reactions, it's great... It was practically perfect in every single way... It made him stand out as the leader of this group. " [3:04-3:55]
The Wyatt Sicks are seemingly currently targeting Chad Gable on Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to see how the story moves forward on this week's episode of the red brand.
