"That’s why I’ve never called you stupid once in 5 years" - Tony Khan slams critic over Daniel Garcia comments
A critic recently made some disparaging comments about Daniel Garcia online. AEW President Tony Khan didn't take too kindly to the remarks and had his say in response to the comments.
Popular podcaster JDfromNY is the latest to comment on Daniel Garcia's AEW journey. Garcia has been gaining a lot of traction among the AEW fans. He has become one of the most popular men on the roster. His feud with MJF helped him become an even bigger star. However, it appears not everyone is a fan of him.
Following a recent episode of Collision where Garcia was in a backstage segment with Orange Cassidy and Private Party, JDfromNY took to social media to claim that nobody believed in Garcia. When a fan responded he believed in him, JD called the fan stupid. Tony Khan then asked why he would call a fan stupid for expressing their opinion.
"Why would you tell a fan that they’re stupid for just expressing their opinion. Everyone is allowed to have beliefs and opinions, it doesn’t make them stupid."

JD responded that he could because it's all subjective which prompted the AEW boss to respond that because just opinions were subjective, he hasn't called JD stupid once in five years.
"Yes exactly, it’s all subjective. That’s why I’ve never called you stupid once in 5 years, despite the fact that I often disagree with your opinions."

Bully Ray criticized Daniel Garcia for a recent Dynamite segment
On the latest episode of Dynamite, Jon Moxley and his crew interrupted the Trios match between Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Rocky Romero, and The Elite. Moxley and his faction ambushed Kyle O'Reilly's team while The Elite watched from the entrance ramp.
Following this segment, Daniel Garcia and Private Party confronted The Elite backstage, leading to an awkward moment between Jack Perry and Garcia when their heads touched. Bully Ray criticized this segment in a recent episode of Busted Open Radio saying that it made Garcia look like a b**ch.
"Jack Perry gets up in Daniel Garcia's face, and basically, he doesn't give him a headbutt, but he puts his head right up against him and mushes him in his head. And Daniel Garcia does it back. It's like the guys who push each other in a bar fight. You know who pushes each other in a bar fight? Punks. I didn't like this headbutting thing. You can't leave a babyface in those situations. It will be interesting to see if Garcia can continue to ride this wave of popularity he has been receiving of late.
