The Acclaimed takes a huge shot at Kamala Harris in controversial AEW Collision moment
This week's AEW Collision tapings took place at the MVP Arena on Thursday night in Albany, New York. The episode will air on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
The show had several fascinating matches like Harley Cameron vs. Mina Shirakawa, Johnny TV vs. Daniel Garcia, and more. La Faccion Ingobernable's The Beast Mortos and RUSH locked horns with The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens). The latter won this bout and qualified for the Four-Way Tag Team Title match at Full Gear. Interestingly, during their entrance, Caster took a massive shot at the 2024 United States Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris.
The 2024 United States Presidential Election was won by Donald Trump. He will be inaugurated on Monday, January 20, 2025, as the 47th President of the USA. Kamala Harris has been the vice president of the country since 2021.
AEW star Max Caster believes that the company doesn't need to hire new faces
In an interaction with Chris Van Vliet on Insight earlier this year, The Acclaimed's Max Caster said that the promotion's locker room is supremely talented and Tony Khan should not sign any more new names.
"I’ll work for that. If you want me to fill someone’s role, I can work and do that. It’s not going to be overnight. It’s not going to be okay, Max is now this guy. No, but I could work there. But it’s insulting to me as a veteran, a top wrestler, and one of the most popular wrestlers that fans will go well, we want this other guy now. Why? You have the best, literally the whole roster, you have the top of wrestling," said the 35-year-old. [H/T ITR: Wrestling]
The Acclaimed are former AEW World Tag Team Champions. They have also held the AEW World Trios Championship once with WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn.
