The Elite lays out top AEW Executive before Blood and Guts match
The Elite has just laid out a high-profile AEW name early in the show ahead of their important match tonight on Dynamite: Blood and Guts. This would be Christopher Daniels.
Daniels was apppointed to his new authoritative role by Tony Khan almost two months ago, and his role was to serve as a counter to decisions made by The Young Bucks. It is safe to say at this point, he has been a thorn in their side.
Earlier tonight, AEW referee Bryce Remsburg was backstage as he walked to The Elite's locker room in hopes of getting the coin toss done to decide who had the advantage heading into the Blood and Guts match later tonight.
However, to the surprise of many, Christopher Daniels was seen in their locker room, laid out on the floor, with the Bucks saying he was "taking a nap."
They pushed through with the coin toss, with The Elite gaining the numbers advantage for later tonight.
During the Blood and Guts match, each of the five members of Team AEW, and Team Elite will come out one by one, and the match will only officially begin once all ten men are in the ring. This gives time for the teams to soften up their opponents till then.
