The Hurt Syndicate's MVP reacts to online trolling; WWE Superstar responds

The Hurt Syndicate is running wild on AEW TV, but the group is also facing some backlash online. MVP, the group's leader, recently gave his thoughts on the trolling, and WWE Superstar Karrion Kross responded.

MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley joined All Elite Wrestling after departing WWE, and they're looking for a fresh start. The faction's leader has been working hard to recruit new clients, but his biggest target, former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, has turned the group down.

Although The Hurt Syndicate is riding high at the moment, a contingent of fans have sparked some inflammatory discourse regarding the group, some of which has been targeted at MVP specifically. The former WWE Superstar took to X/Twitter today with a response:

"When I read the mean spirited, disrespectful comments directed at me on social media, I smile. I've made money, a very comfortable living, doing what I love on my terms for almost 20 years. I hope you get to experience, at the very least, comparable success too. Cheers. 🍻"

Karrion Kross has faced plenty of criticism himself. The RAW star responded to the post with agreement:

The Hurt Syndicate is targeting The Acclaimed's Max Caster

Despite the online trolling, The Hurt Syndicate seems to be firing on all cylinders. Bobby Lashley has a match scheduled against Swerve Strickland at AEW Full Gear, and MVP continues to lure potential clients to his side.

The former WWE Superstar has gone after Ricochet, but he also seems to be interested in Max Caster. Although The Acclaimed's Anthony Bowens has told MVP that he's not interested, Caster seems open to the possibility of joining the new faction.

On a recent episode of Collision, MVP pulled Caster aside and reminded him that the tag team specialist still had his business card. Whether this ends up driving a wedge between Caster and Bowens remains to be seen.
