The Patriarchy pull off a shocking title win after big interference on AEW Collision

The latest edition of AEW Collision saw The Patriarchy pull off a shocking title win. That was in part thanks to big interference from Shayna Wayne.

Christian Cage’s stable successfully defeated The Bang Bang Gang to win the vacant AEW World Trios Titles. The match started off quickly as Nick Wayne and Austin Gunn went at each other with speed from the get-go.

Austin hit Wayne with a bunch of arm drags to get the momentum in the early stages. Killswitch then got tagged in, and that is when the dynamic of the match changed. On top of that, Christian Cage had some shenanigans that enabled his team to maintain the advantage.

They took turns among themselves to beat down Juice Robinson. However, he then tagged in Colten Gunn, which was a hot tag. He went after Nick Wayne. After a while, Juice was the legal member in the ring, and Nick went for a low blow, but that was countered with a powerbomb.

Killswitch, in an effort to help out, accidentally headbutted Christian Cage, and Juice went for the cover, but he kicked out. Then, Mother Wayne interfered and sprayed something in Robinson’s eyes, enabling Christian to hit his finisher to win the match on AEW Collision.

Following the win, the new World Trios Champions celebrated in the ring.
