The secret behind Malakai Black's astonishing body transformation revealed
Malakai Black is one of AEW's top names. He is the leader of the House of Black faction, which also consists of Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart. Furthermore, he is a former AEW World Trios Champion with King and Matthews.
Black has reportedly been wrestling since the early 2000s. Over the years, his physique has seen drastic changes. He is currently in impeccable shape, and recently, The Anithero revealed the secret behind his transformation. The 39-year-old has been working with popular bodybuilding coach Austin J. Sims.
A few hours ago, Sims posted pictures of the stunning transformation of the former WWE star on his Instagram story. Additionally, he wrote how his team improved his client's physique.
"@malakaiblxck transformation! We dropped all this guys inflammation. Corrected hormonal imbalances along with GI issues. His energy is back full blast! Let's churnnn," he wrote.
In response, the Amsterdam native reposted the picture on his IG story. Malakai Black thanked his coach and also revealed the timeline of his transformation.
"One of the best decisions I made in my career and life is trusting AJ's guidance on nutrition and training. Left is 2.5 years ago, right is last week," Malakai wrote.
Malakai Black confirmed last month that he was neither injured nor leaving AEW
On the November 6, 2024, edition of Dynamite, Malakai Black locked horns with former NXT Champion Adam Cole. This match was won by the latter. Interestingly, after this showdown ended, the two men embraced. Fans did not expect this segment. Furthermore, this led to rumors that Black was either injured or leaving AEW.
However, the 39-year-old squashed these speculations by releasing a statement on his Instagram story. In it, he confirmed that he was healthy and had no intention of leaving the Tony Khan-led company.
"I'm not injured, nor am I retiring, nor am I leaving. I haven't been injured in more than three years. ... I would really appreciate it if that stuff stops, man. If I'm gonna retire, you're gonna hear it from me, and not after Adam cuts a promo just as a thank you for that match, and that's all it was," Black said. [H/T Wresting Inc.]
