The Young Bucks break silence after major appearance outside AEW

The Young Bucks are currently on hiatus from AEW. Their last match was against Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Title on Fright Night Dynamite, which they surprisingly lost. It is not known when they will make their return to the company.

Interestingly, Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson recently made a shocking appearance at NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2024. The real-life brothers were once signed to the Japanese company and had an immensely successful run there. They won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship a staggering seven times and the IWGP Tag Team Championship once.

The Bucks showed up at Strong Style Evolved to save their Elite stablemate, Jack Perry. International Champion Konosuke Takeshita and Perry locked horns with Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji at the event. The AEW stars won, but the former TNT Champion was outnumbered after the match. Thankfully, due to The Young Bucks' intervention, the 27-year-old didn't suffer much damage.

A few hours ago, the duo released a statement for the first time since their NJPW appearance.

"By God they love us," the Bucks wrote in response to fans booing them in the arena.

The Young Bucks will have the opportunity to become the new IWGP Tag Team Champions at Wrestle Dynasty

Wrestle Dynasty will take place at Tokyo Dome in Japan on January 5, 2025. Nine matches have been announced for the show so far. Fans are quite eager to see Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson wrestle at the event. They have the opportunity to win the vacant IWGP Tag Team Championship if they defeat their opponents.

A few days ago, the AEW duo released a video message where they said that winning the IWGP Tag Team Title one more time was one of the most important accomplishments they needed to achieve before retirement.
