The Young Bucks finally comment after insane Anarchy In The Arena match at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024
AEW's sixth annual Double Or Nothing pay-per-view was headlined by one of the promotion's signature bouts - Anarchy In The Arena. The Young Bucks are now breaking their silence on the match while also showing off one of their biggest deals ever.
Anarchy In The Arena saw The Elite's Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry defeat Team AEW's Bryan Danielson, Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, and Darby Allin. The 30-minute melee ended with the Continental Champion hitting Danielson with a Rainmaker right before the World Tag Team Champions nailed him with an EVP Trigger. The Scapegoat then rushed the ring and flattened The American Dragon with a running knee for the pin.
The Bucks took to X today with a pre-match backstage photo from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Executive Vice Presidents declared this to be their craziest battle ever, even crazier than The Elite's 2023 Anarchy loss to The Blackpool Combat Club and their 2020 Stadium Stampede win over The Inner Circle.
The photo includes a look at their Reebok-themed attire to celebrate their new deal for custom Reebok Pump sneakers.
"Minutes before the craziest battle we've ever been part of. Happy 5 year anniversary!" The Young Bucks wrote with the photo below.
The Bucks are expected to defend the World Tag Team Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 30. They have not defended since defeating FTR in a Ladder Match for the vacant titles at Dynasty on April 21.
AEW and Reebok draw quick sell-out; World Championship sneakers announced
Matthew & Nicholas Jackson and Reebok teamed with Champs Sports to release the new Young Bucks Pump Omni Zone II sneakers this past weekend. The shoes were sold at Champs' Las Vegas locations ahead of Double Or Nothing before going on sale on the company website this morning.
The $130 Bucks Reebok Pumps are close to being sold out as just a few sizes are left. However, The Bucks also announced that a new AEW World Championship sneaker will be released by Reebok through the Champs website on Wednesday morning.
Reebok partnered with The Young Bucks after their successful deal with Diadora in 2022, where they drew an instant sellout with 1,200 pairs.
