The Young Bucks issue statement after fleeing from AEW in fear of Jon Moxley's faction
The Young Bucks seemingly ran away from Dynamite this week in fear of AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and his stablemates. The Bucks issued a statement on social media after they fled the venue of this week's program.
On the latest episode of Dynamite, The Young Bucks defended their AEW World Tag Team Championship in a WrestleDream rematch against Private Party. After failing to capture the gold in Washington, Mark Quen and Isiah Kassidy put on a great performance and dethroned the Bucks.
Following their loss, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson showed respect to Private Party and handed them the title on their way out. The Bucks then fled from the arena despite Christopher Daniels asking them to handle the chaos caused by Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club.
After fleeing from Dynamite this week, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson updated their X/Twitter bio. In their new bio, the duo stated that they would be indefinitely away from the office. The Bucks sent the following message to their followers:
"We will be away from the office indefinitely. For urgent matters, you can contact @brancutler. Best Regards, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson," the X/Twitter bio read.
Jon Moxley's challenger for AEW Full Gear announced
On this week's Dynamite, Orange Cassidy showed up and challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Later in the show, Moxley came out alongside the BCC and accepted Cassidy's challenge.
The Purveyor of Violence smartly lured Orange Cassidy into the ring and launched an assault on him before Dark Order, Top Flight, and Darby Allin showed up. After the show, the AEW World Title match between Moxley and Cassidy was announced for Full Gear 2024.
The announcement of the match also mentioned that AEW's future depended on the World Title bout's outcome. It remains to be seen what transpires at Full Gear on November 23, 2024.
