The Young Bucks officially confirm blockbuster return outside AEW
At the recent WrestleDream pay-per-view, The Young Bucks locked horns with Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The AEW EVPs won the match and retained their titles.
Before the birth of All Elite Wrestling, Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson performed in numerous promotions across the world, predominantly, in NJPW. There, they won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship a staggering seven times and also the IWGP Tag Team Championship once. They are also former NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Recently it was announced that the duo was going to appear in the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view.
NJPW's X handle shared a clip of Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson announcing the news.
"New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Wrestle Dynasty. The Young Bucks are coming back baby," they said.
Wrestle Dynasty will be co-produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Ring of Honor, World Wonder Ring Stardom, and All Elite Wrestling.
The Young Bucks continued their title reign at WrestleDream
Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson successfully defended their titles yet again at WrestleDream, after winning them at AEW Dynasty earlier this year. They have been the most dominant tag team in the company for a while now and it will be interesting to see who will end their reign in the future.
