The Young Bucks seemingly tease the blockbuster return of AEW original

The Young Bucks have seemingly teased the massive return of an AEW original on the latest episode of Dynamite. The talent in question is none other than Hangman Page.

On the June 26, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson addressed Max Caster and Anthony Bowens after suffering a defeat in an Eliminator Match at the hands of latter the week prior. The EVPs claimed that The Acclaimed only managed to score a victory over them by exploiting the AEW World Tag Team Titles, which The Bucks tried to use illegally to win the match until the attempt backfired on them and Nicholas ended up cracking Matthew on the head with one of the belts.

The Jackson Brothers went on to reveal that The Elite intended to introduce a participant, presumably associated with the heel stable, as a wild card entrant in the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The talent concerned, The Bucks claimed, will go on to win the tournament, win the AEW World Championship at All In, and fulfill The Elite's quest to hold all the gold. The individual in question is likely to be Hangman Adam Page, who was last seen in action at Revolution 2024.

The Anxious Millennial Cowboy was suspended by The Young Bucks after the pay-per-view for attacking officials during his three-way world title match. Page, it was reported recently, is gearing up to make his return to the promotion after having taken time off owing to personal and contractual obligations.

The reports also suggested that All Elite Wrestling had been aware that the former AEW World Champion would return to programming sometime around late June or early July. Furthermore, Page's inclusion in the Owen Hart Tournament had supposedly been discussed by the Tony Khan-led promotion, although as of yet, he has not officially been revealed as the wild card participant The Young Bucks were referring to.

It remains to be seen if Hangman Page will make his return to All Elite Wrestling as an entrant in the Owen Hart Tournament.
