"They got smoked" - Legend says 'it doesn't matter' WWE used The Undertaker to defeat AEW in ratings war

On October 10, 2023, WWE NXT went head-to-head against AEW Dynamite. For this weekly episode, both companies pulled all the stops out to win the ratings war.

While Shawn Miachels used main roster superstars to attract more fans, Tony Khan got more attention due to his tweets than the actual card. Eventually, NXT won the Tuesday Night War, as it had more star power.

On his podcast Kliq This, former WWE Superstar Kevin Nash took a shot at AEW, saying that a loss is a loss.

"Number one, you play a baseball game, you get beat by seven runs, you got beat," said Nash. "There wasn't a — there was no call that could have gone either way, no ball hit the upright, they [AEW] got smoked. If you think that 'Taker coming down, and what he did for seven seconds with Bron, that's — it doesn't matter, your roster is your roster."

He said Tony Khan had his roster, and he should have done something big and better with it.

"Everybody is on some kind of downside here, everybody's getting paid either weekly or biweekly, that's your roster. If you want to move those pieces around any way you want to, that's just what you can do," said Kevin Nash. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Dynamite got 609,000 average viewers, while NXT got 921,000 viewers at the end of the day.
