"They look insanely alike" - Fans amused by star's reaction to fans chanting Logan Paul at him on AEW Rampage

NJPW star El Phantasmo received Logan Paul chants on AEW Rampage. Instead of being annoyed, he used the chants to fuel more energy inside him during the match.

The Canadian wrestler made his AEW debut on the June 28 edition of Rampage. He took on AR Fox in a qualifier bout for the TNT Title Ladder match scheduled for Forbidden Door 2024, which he won.

At one point during the match, fans in the arena started to chant Logan Paul's name. It could be because of his slight resemblance to the WWE United States Champion.

The wrestling world then logged on to X/Twitter to share their thoughts on El Phantasmo not getting fazed by the chants.

A fan said, "El Phantasmo is so much better than that poser Logan."
"But he [is] 100 time better wrestler than Logan Paul," another fan tweeted.

Fans also got behind El Phantasmo on X/Twitter:

A person wrote, "Loved seeing him and want to see more."
"Him leaning into it makes me love him even more," one user said.

Logan Paul sent a bold message before SmackDown

This week's Friday Night SmackDown emanated from the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Before the show, Logan Paul took to X/Twitter to send a message online.

"Wrestling at Madison Square Garden tonight. Dream come true [red heart emoji] @WWE, he tweeted along with a photo of himself from the rehearsals."

The Maverick last wrestled at King and Queen of the Ring on May 24, 2024. He failed to defeat The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and capture the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

On this week's edition of the blue brand, he faced LA Knight and Legado Del Fantasma's Santos Escobar in a Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat match. Knight ended up pinning The Maverick. The two stars have been at loggerheads with them likely to go up against each other soon.
