"They're lame" - Wrestling legend is very disappointed with Jon Moxley's Death Riders

Jon Moxley and the Death Riders have put the entire AEW roster on notice. However, a wrestling legend is disappointed with the group.

Konnan was the latest to comment on the Death Riders. Jon Moxley formed the new faction after he betrayed his Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out and choked him out with a plastic bag. Since then, Mox and his crew have waged war on the entire locker claiming that they were about to bring about change in the company. However, their storyline has received some criticism for not living up to the hype.

During a recent episode of his Keepin' It 100 Official podcast, Konnan criticized Mox's storyline with his group for being underwhelming. He said that the squad promised to bring about a revolution and change the company, but that hadn't happened.

"I've said this a million times, bro, and it's worth repeating one more time — this Death Riders group is very underwhelming because they came and said, 'We're gonna change the company, there's gonna be a revolution.' The company is the same, they're lame — it looks like a very lame group," said Konnan. [H/T WrestlingInc.]

Konnan said that Death Riders don't look intimidating

Jon Moxley is known for being an intimidating presence in the ring and his matches are a testament to this. His violent nature definitely makes him look the part of a dangerous person. On the other hand, the rest of Death Riders have not come off as intimidating which could be another problem with the group.

During the same podcast episode, Konnan highlighted the same issue and said that apart from Moxley, the rest of the group doesn't look intimidating, which has affected the storyline.

"Very unintimidating, the only guy that comes off somewhat intimidating is Jason Statham, Moxley, right? The girl isn't intimidating, Yuta isn't intimidating, and Claudio just looks like a nice guy. He's never really mad. He always seems like he's smiling. Vey unintimidating group," he said. [H/T WrestlingInc.]

This storyline is seemingly still in its early phase, so we'll have to wait and see if Moxley and his crew are able to bring about change in AEW or whether the veteran's words will ring true eventually.
