"This is something AEW does better than WWE," notices Bully Ray after Dynamite moment

Wrestling veteran Bully Ray noticed a moment on this week's Dynamite episode that he felt was incredible. The segment on the AEW's flagship show featured Will Opsreay and Swerve Strickland.

The duo is set to lock horns at Forbidden Door 2024. Before their epic clash, they confronted each other at Dynamite this week and traded verbal shots. During their conversation, The Aerial Assassin named all his popular maneuvers and claimed that no matter which one he employs on Strickland at Forbidden Door, he will walk out as the new AEW World Champion.

WWE legend Bully Ray loved the fact that Ospreay brought his maneuvers into play during the segment. Speaking on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, the veteran claimed that AEW maintained the credibility of the moves better than the Stamford-based promotion.

"And then Will [Ospreay] starts to do something that I absolutely loved. And this is where the credibility of actual pro-wrestling and actual pro-wrestling moves and maneuvers comes into play. This is something I think AEW does better than WWE. The credibility of the moves!" he said.

He added:

"Will started to run down all his moves... I loved that because it puts so much emphasis on the actual move. Now, when you see Will hit Swerve with any of the moves that he mentioned, you're gonna believe that it could be a finish. You don't have to wait for Will to actually hit his actual finish. And I kind of like it when guys and gals have a finish and a secondary finish!" [8:44 - 10:22]

Will Ospreay namedrops former faction on AEW Dynamite

During their conversation on Dynamite, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland took many shots at each other. One such moment featured the AEW International Champion mentioning Swerve's ex-stable in WWE, Hit Row.

Before joining Tony Khan's promotion, the reigning AEW World Champion performed in WWE under the ring name Isaiah ''Swerve'' Scott. He was part of a stable called Hit Row, which included Ashante "Thee" Adonis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if The Aerial Assassin claims the World Title at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2024.
