"Threatened me to be silent or else" - Former WWE World Champion makes a big accusation against Tony Khan
Over the years, Tony Khan has hired numerous former WWE stars to AEW. Some of those big names such as Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose), Mercedes Mone, Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro), and more are current champions in the promotion.
One of the earliest former WWE names that signed for All Elite Wrestling was Jake Hager. Formerly known as Jack Swagger, the 42-year-old is a former World Heavyweight Champion. Additionally, he is a former ECW Champion and a former WWE United States Champion. He was with AEW from 2019 to 2024.
The star shockingly claimed on Twitter that his former boss, Tony Khan, was a "communist." Furthermore, he stated that Khan threatened him to not reveal this information to the world or there would be repercussions.
"Do u want proof that @TonyKhan is a communist and threatened me to be silent or else?" he wrote.

The former World Heavyweight Champion was a part of two of AEW's most popular factions: The Inner Circle and Jericho Appreciation Society.
Chris Jericho slammed WWE for dropping the ball on Jake Hager
Even though Hager is a skilled athlete, his World Wrestling Entertainment career is arguably not as memorable as he probably would have liked. In an older interview, his former stablemate and current ROH World Champion Chris Jericho criticized the Stamford-based company for grossly underutilizing the former World Heavyweight Champion.
"I always knew what Jake Hager could do, and they didn’t let him do that in WWE. And now, he’s our killer. He’s beating the sh*t outta everybody, he looks good and he’s big, like, how could you mess up Jake Hager in the pro wrestling business,” said Jericho. [H/T Ringside Intel]
Hager is also a retired mixed martial artist with an undefeated record. It remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
