This past AEW Dynamite saw the long-awaited arrival of Jeff Hardy and the reunion of the legendary tag team the Hardy Boyz, ending three months of speculation after his initial WWE departure.

The charismatic enigma has been the talk of the wrestling world, with fans and critics alike sharing their love for the former WWE Champion. One such name is ECW legend Tommy Dreamer, who described his own adulation for both Jeff and Matt Hardy whilst speaking on Busted Open.

"There's no bigger fan of Matt and Jeff Hardy than myself. The fans love them, they are so unique, no matter how old they get they're still the Hardy Boyz even though they're technically Hardy men. It's just the beauty of them being together and we now know we are going to see the best version." (0:40-1:05)

Dreamer went on to explain why The Hardy Boyz could be at their best in AEW. He added that they could retain their Attitude Era mentality with all of the additional experience they've gained.

"When I say the best version of the Hardys I feel even though they're older you're going to get a smarter Matt and Jeff that can still go out and do some Matt and Jeff things, they're not Attitude Era Matt and Jeff but their heart and soul and how they're going to be presented will be that." The arrival of Jeff and the unification of the Hardy Boyz in AEW has added yet another top tier tag team to the roster, which already boasts the likes of the Young Bucks and reDragon.

It's a testament to the sheer number of tag teams in the division that the Hardy brothers shared a ring with three separate tandems on Dynamite. As Matt was ejected from the AHFO faction, Private Party and the Butcher and the Blade were present as they laid into their fallen leader.

Sting and Darby Allin came to the aid of Matt and would eventually stand opposite the brothers once Jeff helped clear the ring, suggesting an eventual clash may be on the cards.
