Tommy Dreamer comments on top AEW star's immediate future following Dynamite 250

Tommy Dreamer recently addressed an unexpected twist in a feud between two major AEW stars and the potential implications for this storyline. This would be the feud between MJF and Will Ospreay.

A few days ago on AEW Dynamite, the two men opened the show with a match for the International Championship, which lasted around 59 minutes. There was a point when Will Ospreay had a clear shot at victory and was about to hit his "retired" Tiger Driver 91 finisher, but he faced a moral dilemma, which cost him his title. MJF was able to come to his senses and steal a win.

In a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer discussed that specific moment in the match. He praised the angle this took and how it would make the Aerial Assassin reflect on his choices.

He mentioned that this could lead to a potential rematch at AEW All In, where Ospreay could not only seek retribution but finally hit the Tiger Driver 91 to regain his title.

"The conflict at the end was so so good, and yes we always say 'take your eye off the prize and it results in a loss. Ask a lot of real professional athletes, it's the losses that drive you, not the victories. Or it's the 'should I have done this or shouldn't I have done this?" Dreamer said. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

With Ospreay losing two important matches because he held back from using the move, he may now realize that the stakes have just gone higher.

The veteran praised both AEW stars for their great physical feat

During the same podcast, Dreamer talked about how both men went for almost an hour and how much energy and mind power this entailed.

Tommy Dreamer talked about how one needed to draw energy from the fans at certain junctures during matches. He praised them for keeping it going, as, according to him, doubts may start to creep in once the match has gone on for a while, but in the end, they could still stand toe-to-toe with one another.

"Let me tell you, there's points where you're trying to get energy and you really do need to feed it off the fans. I'm talking when you're 48 [minutes] in because now you're thinking about that clock. It was a masterful piece of art. I really, really enjoyed it. [You've] also then got to say going an hour with one of the best wrestlers –- perceived to be one of the best wrestlers –- if I'm MJF, and then I don't know what Will Ospreay's thinking, but like there's also self-doubt," Tommy Dreamer said. Now, it remains to be seen what the fallout from this shocking result will be and what implications this could have for AEW All In. Apart from Will Ospreay, PAC, who has earned a future title shot, and Daniel Garcia, who could be looking for revenge, could be looming around, which makes matters a little more complicated.
