Tommy Dreamer thinks major AEW stars are "pissed off" after recent loss
AEW is home to numerous captivating factions. Among them, The Hurt Syndicate is currently sending shockwaves across the industry. This stable consists of former WWE stars, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. When they were signed to the Stamford-based promotion, they were known as The Hurt Business.
Tony Khan has been booking The Hurt Syndicate quite well. Both Lashley and Benjamin are equally dominating. Every time they enter the squared circle individually, they have only one thing on their minds: to hurt people. Fans had expected The All Mighty's booking to be immaculate. However, the fact that Khan has booked The Gold Standard so well has surprised thousands of fans worldwide. Even though the 49-year-old has lost two matches since his AEW debut, he is still a force to be reckoned with.
Shelton Benjamin is a participant in the 2024 Continental Classic. He recently locked horns with Kyle Fletcher, but could not defeat him. The Hurt Syndicate was visibly frustrated with this result and after the match, they took it out on passing backstage officials. Tommy Dreamer responded to this post-match segment on Busted Open Radio by saying that the trio was "pissed off" and simply couldn't be contained.
"They are pissed off. These are both heavy competitors, guys who both want to be world champions and will stop at nothing to get that," said Dreamer. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
AEW star MVP states the criteria required to join The Hurt Syndicate
MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley were recently interviewed by Renee Paquette on AEW Close Up. In it, Porter stated that to join their faction, an individual had to be coachable and have excellent taste in fashion.
"Well number one is coachability. They have to be coachable. Number two, they have to have swag, swagger, a sense of style and fashion because we are hashtag fashionably violent ... you can't have a nice pair of jeans," said the former WWE United States Champion. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
Under WWE's banner, The Hurt Syndicate had a fourth member: Cedric Alexander.
