Tony Khan announces blockbuster AEW debut of 31-year-old star
Tony Khan just announced the blockbuster AEW debut of a 31-year-old star. This star will compete in an upcoming title match.
Stephanie Vaquer has been on top of her game in recent months. She has a vast amount of experience and she has competed all over the world across several promotions such as CMLL, NJPW, Rev Pro Wrestling, etc. Currently, Vaquer is the NJPW Strong Women's Champion.
Recently, she turned heads when she showed up in AEW and challenged Mercedes Mone to a title for title match at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2024. However, it looks like she might make her debut for Tony Khan's promotion before then.
The AEW President recently took to social media to announce that Stephanie Vaquer will step into the ring against Lady Frost on the 29th June episode of AEW Collision:

Tony Khan makes a major announcement regarding Mercedes Mone
Mercedes Mone has lived up to her fans' expectations by winning the TBS Championship from Willow Nightingale. However, as soon as she became champion, she is already set to face her toughest challenge yet in Stephanie Vaquer. She will face Vaquer in a title for a title match at AEW X NJPW Forbidden.
Ahead of her major title defense, Tony Khan took to social media to announce that the CEO will appear on Dynamite to talk about her title match at Forbidden Door.
"TOMORROW, Wed 6/26 Buffalo, NY TBS, 8pm ET/7pm CT Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite We'll hear from Champion Mercedes Moné TOMORROW on her channel! We'll hear from CEO TOMORROW on TBS before her Title-for-Title fight vs at Forbidden Door!" Tony Khan posted.
