Tony Khan announces major events following historic TV deal; dates and locations revealed for AEW Revolution and more

Following Sting's massive sendoff in March 2024, next year's AEW Revolution could be a hot ticket. After finalizing a massive television contract with Warner Bros. Discovery in October, the young promotion is closing the year with many major announcements.

Tony Khan's promotion is in final preparations for this Saturday's Full Gear pay-per-view. Following that, the Continental Classic tournament will begin, which will lead All Elite Wrestling all the way to Worlds End in December. The company will then be on the road to Revolution and a new year of programming.

AEW announced several events today on its official website, including the date and location of Revolution next March. You can check out the full list below:

AEW reportedly eyeing smaller venues in 2025

This past year has been a pivotal one for AEW, but it's also been a challenging stretch. The company has dealt with a year-long slump in attendance and viewership.

Tony Khan & Co. seem to have made strides in addressing fan concerns over storytelling and marketing. However, with WWE still in the midst of its hottest streak in decades, the Jacksonville-based promotion continues to fight an uphill battle.

According to F4W's Bryan Alvarez, AEW is retooling its set and lighting with the idea of running smaller venues in 2025. Wednesday Night Dynamite still draws 3,000+ fans on average, but shots of the empty hard-cam side of its arenas have created a negative image for the promotion lately.

The events AEW announced today seem to be in line with its usual venue size, which means that, if this report is true, it hasn't been implemented just yet. It remains to be seen whether Tony Khan will move his shows to smaller venues in the future.
