Tony Khan has completely buried recently signed star in AEW, says Jim Cornette: "They've killed it"
Jim Cornette feels Tony Khan has completely buried Kamille in AEW. The Brickhouse became All Elite in February but didn't make her debut till July 2024.
The 32-year-old female star made her official debut as a heel and joined forces with Mercedes Mone as her bodyguard at Blood and Guts. She made her in-ring debut on the July 31 edition of AEW Dynamite and beat Brittany Jade in a squash match.
Speaking on the recent edition of his Drive Thru episode, Jim Cornette reviewed Mercedes Moné & Kamille's backstage brawl with Kris Statlander on AEW Dynamite. While reviewing the segment, Cornette strongly criticized Tony Khan for making Kamille's character weak and underwhelming. He said:
"Kamille's Christmas goose has been cooked before Thanksgiving. She is dead in the water as the boys used to say because they've completely f**ked it up now. Now Camille has her arm in a sling but she's still carrying Mercedes's s**t and Mercedes is barking orders at her and ah, you dumb s**t and so the whole cool bodyguard thing is dead, the whole f**king striking giant athletic woman is now reduced to being a f**king stooge and the only way they were ever going to get any value whatsoever out of this untalented shell of a human being Mercedes Mone was to have some of this dichotomy with Kamille and get her over and they've killed it." AEW's Mercedes Mone spotted with released WWE star
Mercedes Mone was recently spotted with released WWE star Indi Hartwell. A day ago, the former logged onto her X/Twitter account to share photos of herself training with Harley Cameron and Hartwell.
WWE released Hartwell on November 1 as a part of a small round of budget cuts. Several wrestling promotions are looking to bag her, but she's supposed to bide time because of the 90-day non-compete clause.
