Tony Khan faces backlash; labeled a 'clown' amid AEW criticism

Tony Khan has been labeled a ‘clown’ in an astonishing rant amid AEW criticism. This is just the latest chapter in a seemingly never-ending feud.

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has always been a scathing critic of AEW and has called out Tony on more than one occasion for bad booking. However, things don't seem to affect Khan as he gets on with the job at hand.

However, in his latest episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff laid into TK and called him and Dave Meltzer clowns and called the product a failure. He said.

"It's a joke like everything else that comes out of AEW and especially Tony Khan's mouth, you can't take it seriously. I don't know between he and Dave Meltzer, I don't think we've seen goalposts being moved as frequently and as far as these two clowns continue to try to move goalposts to make AEW look like something other than an abject f*****g failure," Bischoff said. Vince Russo says Tony Khan has zero credibility

Like Eric Bischoff, veteran writer Vince Russo also attacked Tony Khan and said he has zero credibility.

He pointed out that Tony says the product is better when the numbers don't add up. The former WWE writer was speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Outlaws podcast when he said this.

"There was a Tony Khan interview from last week and Chris, he must've said the word great a hundred times... I mean by him saying, 'We're great! We're great! We're great!' Does he think he's going to convince people that they're great? You're just losing credibility. I mean it's like EC3, 'Hey, this is my first five years in this game. I've made some mistakes. I'm learning. We're making the changes.' But bro he sits [and says], 'This is great! That was great! This is great! That was great!' I'm like, 'Bro, you have zero credibility at this point man.'"

It will be interesting to see what Tony will have to say about this.
