Tony Khan finally announces the return of former AEW Women’s World Champion after 9-month absence
Tony Khan has announced a quarterfinal match of the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament for Wednesday. He also revealed that a former AEW Women's World Champion would be returning to take part in the high-stakes match.
On this week's Dynamite, Kris Statlander and Nyla Rose will lock horns in the quarterfinal of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Rose has not competed on the Wednesday night program since October 2023. However, she has been appearing on ROH, besides wrestling in dark matches.
Tony Khan recently confirmed Nyla Rose's return to AEW Dynamite after nearly nine months. On X/Twitter, he announced that the Owen Hart Foundation Cup will start this week, with the former Women's World Champion taking on Statlander.

In her last televised appearance on Dynamite, Rose competed in an AEW Women's World Title Grand Slam Four-Way Eliminator match. Toni Storm won the contest on September 13, 2023. It remains to be seen whether the 41-year-old can secure a massive win upon her comeback.
Tony Khan announces the date of the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finals
Tony Khan has been a busy man, as AEW is gearing up for Forbidden Door 2024 and the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments.
The AEW President recently announced the brackets for the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments and revealed that the finals will take place on July 10, 2024. The winners of the men's and women's cups will receive title shots at All In.
