Tony Khan finally responds to fan criticism over AEW Collision's "shocking" ratings

AEW President Tony Khan appears to have finally had enough of the criticism, which has been coming his way in the form of low ratings. He has now decided to go on the offensive.

There is a lot of chatter each week about the ratings for AEW shows and how they have either faltered or risen. TK took to X/Twitter to speak about the Saturday Night Show Collision completing one full year and how it was a good thing.

One fan took exception to that and called him out, questioning how he could be happy when the ratings were so shocking.

Tony Khan hit back and said that the one year anniversary episode beat UFC in a head to head battle.

"Yes Derek, speaking of 1 year and shocking, I was also thrilled when the 1 year anniversary Saturday Night #AEWCollision beat UFC head-to-head, 7 days ago. What a great way to celebrate 1 year of @AEW on Saturday Nights on TNT!"

Tony Khan reveals what Shahid Khan thinks of AEW

Shahid Khan, who is the father of Tony Khan, made a rare appearance on AEW television a few months back when his son was attacked by The Elite.

He had a look of shock on his face to see Tony down on the mat in a helpless situation. TK has now revealed what his father truly thinks of the organization and how his appearance has left a lasting impression on him.

While speaking in an interview with Bleacher Report, Khan said:

"He thought it was fantastic. People were sending it to him. He knew it was going to get attention. He knows AEW is a big deal, and he follows the show and the product. He's not a hardcore wrestling fan, but he watches AEW."

It will be interesting to see how Shahid Khan could make yet another appearance on TV as his son is involved in an ongoing power battle with The Elite.
