Bully Ray wants to see Britt Baker feud with Mercedes Mone in AEW
A few weeks back on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray spoke about how Mercedes Mone has been showing heelish tendencies ever since joining AEW. The WWE legend feels that if the TBS Champion were to fully embrace her evil side, the company needs to pit Baker against her as the fans respect her.
"Now who would you want to see punch Mercedes in the mouth if she ever said [that]?" Ray continued. "The good news is, you'd want to see any AEW female do that to her. But who would you really like to see do it to her? Who's that one female out there in AEW that we might not have seen in a while? Who's the perfect former face of the place to defend AEW? The good doctor, D. M. D. Britt Baker. How about that, folks? A baby face Baker versus a heel Mercedes Mone."
Mercedes Mone is to have a title vs. title match at Forbidden Door 2024, where she faces NJPW Strong Women's Champion Stephanie Vanquer.
