Tony Khan didn't hesitate to grant Dax Harwood's plea; AEW boss reacts

AEW President Tony Khan is beloved by some fans but heavily criticized by others. However, few can argue that he isn't generous despite issues with his creative and management style. The All Elite Chief recently responded to requests for help from members of his roster, including Dax Harwood.

Hurricane Helene tore through the Southeastern United States late last month and left severe damage in its wake. Areas of North Carolina were devastated by flooding, and relief efforts have been underway over the past couple of weeks.

AEW's Dax Harwood and Adam Copeland (fka Edge) currently reside in Asheville, NC, where Hurricane Helene caused heavy damage. Copeland revealed on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio that Tony Khan has been helping out with relief efforts and has provided Starlink internet devices to police in the area.

Dax Harwood added to this on X/Twitter, noting that the AEW boss immediately began to help as soon as he was asked and that he's provided more aid beyond Starlink access:

"It took one ask. Tony didn’t hesitate and has helped beyond this," Harwood wrote.

Tony Khan responded to Dax, invoking their bond as "Colliders," a term used by fans to denote their status as loyalists of AEW Collision:

"Colliders Unite," Khan responded.

Tony Khan announces Jay White's return on AEW Dynamite

Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite will be a special Title Tuesday edition, and Tony Khan has some big plans in store. On top of a major contender's match between Britt Baker and Willow Nightingale, Jay While will make his return to the ring after several months away.

The leader of the Bang Bang Gang made his surprise return last week to confront 'Hangman' Adam Page, and he's set to make an appearance on AEW Dynamite tonight. Khan took to X/Twitter ahead of the show to promote White's segment:

"He's back TONIGHT. Switchblade Jay White! on TUESDAY Night Dynamite! After returning to AEW last Wednesday with his sights set on Hangman Page, @JayWhiteNZ's here TONIGHT! No Wednesday Dynamite this week! Dynamite is TONIGHT! Special Start Time on TBS 9pm ET/8pm CT TONIGHT"

Tony Khan has accomplished a lot in 2024, with AEW continuing to expand its international touring and even scoring a lucrative new television deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Whether the All Elite Chief can maintain this momentum through the rest of the year remains to be seen.
