Dolph Ziggler reacts to the attack on AEW CEO Tony Khan on Dynamite
The wrestling world has been buzzing ever since The Elite's brutal attack on AEW CEO Tony Khan on the most recent Dynamite. Former WWE star Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) recently reacted to the angle on the Busted Open Radio podcast. Nemeth said that he loved the angle as it got a lot of people talking.
"As a fan, when things are gimmicky, or bad, or slap you in the face, we shovel it into your mouth, I am very disgusted with it most of the time when you see that randomly happen. This, happening, makes me smile so much that, there is part of our business, that is being talked about. Any publicity is almost always good publicity. Especially for AEW. I loved it when this happened....When you live for it, and you go, 'This is my job,' and I take it home with me and I take it very seriously, I will protect it, I love that part," Nemeth said. Nic Nemeth has been having a great run on the independent circuit ever since he was released by the Stamford-based promotion in 2023. He is the current IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion and also won the AAA Mega Championship last night after defeating Alberto El Patron at TripleMania XXXll.
