Tony Khan has an interesting reaction to potential blockbuster partnership between WWE and AEW

Tony Khan has partnered with several major wrestling promotions, but he hasn't managed to connect with WWE. He has now given his reaction to a possible partnership between the two companies.

Over the past five years, All Elite Wrestling has broken down the forbidden door and partnered with other wrestling promotions such as AAA, CMLL, and NJPW. The company has even dedicated at least one PPV a year to nurture these partnerships further.

This year, WWE has also partnered with TNA, allowing several stars to show up on NXT, such as Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Rosemary, The Rascalz, and many more. As a result, fans are wondering if AEW and WWE could work together in the future despite their differences.

During a recent appearance on Maggie & Perloff, AEW CEO Tony Khan addressed this possibility, stating that a partnership between both promotions is possible in the next 100 years.

"I can't say ever. Anything could happen at some point. It's hard to say. What's the timeline? In the next 100 years, quite possibly," he said. [H/T Fightful]

Tony Khan makes a bold statement about AEW's future

AEW is in the middle of negotiating a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. The two companies have been in talks for a while and it was reported recently that the deal is almost finalized. Since then, there have been speculations about what the new deal could entail.

During a recent interview with Busted Open, Tony Khan pretty much guaranteed that AEW will retain its partnership with TBS and TNT for a very long time.

"There's a lot of reports and rumors... I have not confirmed, and Warner Brothers has not confirmed anything officially, but it's an exciting time for AEW and Warner Brothers Discovery, who are also here in New York City... All the great people at Warner Brothers Discovery have been so great to us, and I think we have a really exciting future there. I can say with a hundred percent certainty AEW and TBS and TNT are here to stay for a long time," said Khan.

It will be interesting to see what kind of deal Tony Khan finalizes with Warner Bros. Discovery.
