Tony Khan is "shocked" and "appalled" by recent comments on AEW legend Jim Ross

Jim Ross recently commented on AEW President Tony Khan facing a lawsuit which got him a lot of heat from some people. The lawsuit was filed by released AEW stars The Tate Twins and Kevin Kelly.

The above-mentioned ex-AEW stars filed a lawsuit against AEW, Tony Khan, and Ian Riccaboni, accusing them of defamation. In his Grilling JR podcast, JR commented on the subject, stating that their case will not hold up in the courtroom as it is not as strong.

Stephen P. New, representing the plaintiff, reacted to Ross' comments in a recent interview with the House of Kayfabe. He accused the AEW legend of being part of the problem and feeding the talents wrong contracts. He also slammed him, saying he was getting paid in Tony Khan's promotion for the last five years to do nothing.

Tony Khan recently logged onto his official X (formerly Twitter) account to react to Stephen P. New's comments on JR.

"I've just read Stephen P. New's comments about @JRsBBQ I'm shocked + appalled by these comments on legend Jim Ross, part of AEW's foundation, someone so important from the beginning of AEW and still right now today. AEW, JR & I reserve all rights. See you tonight at #AEWAllOut."

Jim Ross praises Jack Perry

On one of the recent editions of Grilling JR, Jim Ross heaped tons of praise on Jack Perry. He stated that the reigning TNT Champion is the best worker in the world and an amazing pro wrestler. He even went as far as to claim that The Elite member is one of his favorite stars.

JR also talked about Jungle Boy's upcoming match at All Out where the latter will take on The American Dragon Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. Ross stated that their match would be a blockbuster. The PPV is scheduled to take place today at the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
