Tony Khan makes blockbuster announcement before AEW Dynamite
AEW President Tony Khan made a major announcement ahead of Dynamite tonight. He has been involved in a long-standing tradition of posting a picture of the newest signee with the graphic of All Elite. Recently, he shared a photo of Bobby Lashley.
The All Mighty made his debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion after Swerve Strickland defeated Shelton Benjamin. He, along with MVP and Shelton, ambushed the former AEW World Champion and Prince Nana. The special edition, Fright Night Dynamite ended with The Hurt Syndicate standing tall in the ring.
Following the shocking finish of the flagship show last Wednesday, AEW advertised the trio for the upcoming show. Many assumed that Bobby Lashley signed a deal with Tony Khan before debuting. However, AEW claimed that The All Mighty is yet to sign on the dotted lines. It seems like Tony and Lashley seemingly agreed on a deal tonight when he announced their agreement.
A few moments ago, Tony Khan shared the 'Bobby Lashley is All Elite' graphic, confirming he is AEW bound.
"It’s official: @fightbobby is All Elite! Don’t miss @AEWonTV, Live at 8pm ET/7pm CT, On @TBSNetwork TONIGHT!, Bobby Lashley + The Hurt Syndicate will kick off Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite on TBS for the first time ever TONIGHT!" he wrote.
It will be interesting to see The Hurt Syndicate's next move on Dynamite.
