Tony Khan makes blockbuster announcement days ahead of AEW WrestleDream 2024

AEW WrestleDream 2024 is set to take place on October 12th. With just a few days to go, Tony Khan has made a big announcement regarding the show.

AEW WrestleDream 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting show. This event will take place on October 12th from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The PPV is headlined by Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley who will battle for the AEW World Championship. This is also one of the most anticipated matches on the card. Another exciting match announced for the show is the three-way match for the AEW International Championship between Will Ospreay, Ricochet, and Konosuke Takeshita.

Apart from this, several other matches were announced for the show and Tony Khan has added one more. The AEW boss took to social media to announce a two out of three falls match between Hologram and The Beast Mortos:

"#AEWWrestleDream ppv Tacoma, WA This Saturday, 10/12 2 Out Of 3 Falls @AEWHologram vs @BeastMortos After a savage attack by The New LFI on #AEWDynamite, a red hot rivalry will erupt on the ppv stage with new stakes as Hologram fights Beast Mortos 2 Out Of 3 Falls this SATURDAY!"

Bobby Lashley was reportedly scheduled to wrestle at AEW WrestleDream

After Bobby Lashley left the WWE earlier this year, there was speculation that he could debut for AEW. It was also reported that he recently signed with the Tony Khan-led promotion.

With WrestleDream around the corner, a fan asked Ibou of WrestlePurists on social media if Lashley could make his debut this weekend. Ibou responded that Lashley was originally scheduled to wrestle at WrestleDream:

"100%. He was originally scheduled to wrestle on the show," Ibou responded to the fan.

It will be interesting to see if Bobby Lashley will make his All Elite Wrestling debut this weekend.
