Tony Khan makes blockbuster Jon Moxley match official minutes before AEW Dynamite goes off-air
AEW President Tony Khan made a massive announcement regarding Jon Moxley moments before tonight's Dynamite ended. The latter will be involved in a blockbuster tag team action this week.
The reigning AEW World Champion defeated Orange Cassidy at Full Gear pay-per-view. The aftermath of the match involved Christian Cage, Hangman Page, and Jay White, who all came to the ring for the top prize. Last week, Hangman and Switchblade were ambushed by the Death Riders. On tonight's Dynamite, the White defeated PAC in a splendid contest.
Later, Jon Moxley and attacked White. Hangman Page took on the crew while Orange Cassidy choked Moxley with a wire after the former TNT Champion disguised as a cameraman. In the end, Hangman, Jay, and Orange stood tall in the ring after taking down the AEW World Champion. After the chaotic events, a huge match was made official.
Before Dynamite went off the air, AEW commentator Excalibur announced that Tony Khan booked a tag match for next week's Dynamite 'Winter Is Coming.' Jon Moxley and PAC take on Jay White and Orange Cassidy in a stacked match next Wednesday.
"WEDNESDAY, 12/11 in Kansas City, MO, 8pm ET/7pm CT LIVE on TBS, @JonMoxley & @BASTARDPAC vs @JayWhiteNZ & @OrangeCassidy. With the rest of the Bang Bang Gang injured, Switchblade Jay White finds an ally in Orange Cassidy to face The Death Riders!" AEW announced.
It will be interesting to see who stands tall following the massive contest.
